In March, Voice of Hope headed back to Kakamega, Kenya with a team from Ontario to continue their partnership with Everlyne and Martha. A team of 8 women led by HFL leader Lauri were involved in women’s health and safety teaching, widow visits and compassion projects, Bible distribution, sewing initiatives, and strengthening/encouraging the spiritual growth of these ladies. Several of the ladies traveled ahead of the team to assist in a one-month-long sewing teaching project.
